Sam Dillon founded Air Woodlands in 1978. Jeremy Laurence became a partner in 2011 and has been leading the company since 2018. The Woodlands has grown into one of the most recognized master-planned communities in the country. We have been here for all of it.
Our history
Forty-eight years, one company, one standard
1978:Sam Dillon founds Air Woodlands
Sam Dillon started the company out of Oak Ridge North when The Woodlands was still being built. The first customers were builders, contractors, and the early residents of a development that did not yet have its own zip code. Sam built the company on a simple principle: do the job right the first time and the customer calls you again.
2011:Jeremy Laurence joins as partner
Jeremy Laurence had been in the HVAC trade since his early twenties. He joined Air Woodlands as a partner in 2011 and took over day-to-day operations. He brought more structure to scheduling and dispatch without changing what made the company worth joining: a reputation for straight talk and clean work.
2018 to present:Jeremy leads the company
Jeremy has been the primary operator since 2018. The company has grown to serve both residential and commercial customers across Montgomery and Harris counties, added commercial ductwork capability, and earned the RUUD ProPartner designation. The truck count has grown. The standard has not changed.
